Pick: Barcelona (-5.5) Result: Pending Stake: 4/10 Odds: 1.85 Bookmaker: Interwetten vCash: Yes

Well this should be must win game for PAO, but Hc set by Interwetten is much different than -8 set by most of bookies, so I must take this bet no doubt. Barcelona lost in Belgrade last week, and they were outplayed fair and square. But that doesn't show that Barcelona is in bad shape. In that game everything was against Barcelona, even luck. PAO on the other hand is in deep problems. No results, players injured and fans are really unhappy. So nig pressure is on the team to make result. Barcelona isn't the place to try to save the season, and I deeply believe in Barcelona bounce back against PAO. Small to medium stakes.
Try it, u won't regret it...

Well this is very interesting game no doubt. Partizan showed that they can beat every team in Europe when they play in Belgrade. Barcelona lost in hell of Pionir and now Partizan have 2-0 after two rounds in this group. Maroussi on the other hand played close game against Barcelona in first round, and than won against PAO in second round. I'm really surprised with this margin, as Partizan is well known as excellent defensive team. Last two games in Euroleague they had 123 and 133 total points. Also last game against Buducnost in Adriatic League they went under 140 points. Maroussi last few games is oging over that number somewhere around 150-160 points per game, but they are well known as slow tempo team that loves to play defense. So with two defensive teams I must go on under here. Small to medium stakes.

This is the game where I'm gonna be greedy as hell. Fluminense is like death squad in first 6 rounds of Carioca championship with 5 wins and one loss (against Flamengo 3-5 even they were 3-1 up at HT). And Fluminense is already qualified for 1/2 finals of Carioca. They seem to care very little about this game against small Olaria team. Coach of Fluminense, Cuca, said that every game is important but it is obvious that he talks the talk, as he will rest all players that can get into problems with yellow cards, because next game is 1/2 final game. Those players are: laterals Mariano, Thiaguinho, Júlio César, defender Gum, midfielder Éverton, winger Marquinho. Forward Willians is suspended, and also I don't see Fred in probable squad, so it is possible he will be rested also. So that is 8 players rested by Fluminense, and I just can't overlook that information. Small to medium stakes on Olaria ML, and for those who don't believe in small club from Rio who produced player like Romario and Garincha, ah is set at +0.75.

Hmmm talk about overachivers and underpefrormers in Brazil. Bragantino, team that finished last season in Serie B as 9th, is playing excellent in this year Paulista championship. Saw couple of their games so far, and in all of those games Bragantino played open offensive football often with many goals. Their defense is conceding too many "cheap" goals, and I got the feeling that their two central defenders are not the best one possible to find. For this game defender Thiago Vieira is suspended, and midfielders Francis and Rodrigo Costa are highly doubtfull.
Verdao on the other hand is under achiving in this championship. Injuries, suspensions and lack of top notch players is something coach Murcy Ramalho must cope with in this moment. But Palmeiras is in this game in must win situation as other teams are already clinched 1/2 final spot, and Verdao in order to be in 1/2 finals must win this game. In few last games Verdao didn't play good but today Ramalho can't count only on Leo, central defender, but other players are ready for this game.
Palmeiras even with bad set of result played really good in those games, but Lady Luck wasn't on their side. Now after 2 weeks on the field they will have Diego Souza and Cleiton Xavier together. I believe Verdao will win this one.

Those two teams started this championship in different fashion. We have Sao Paulo on the other hand, team that gives everything to Copa Libertadores this season, and Paulista was training ground for coach Ricardo Gomes to rotate and try some new players, and old players on new positions. Now Sao Paulo have first game of Copa Libertadores in 3 days, and while coach hasn\'t confirmed yet his starting 11, I have no doubt he will rest some or many players. Sao Paulo played with maximum force few days ago and won against Sao Caetano and from that game coach is giving mixed comments. But as I said, I have no doubts he will save at least 3-4 main players in order to keep them fresh for first game against Monterey.
On the other hand Santos is playing excellent on the beggining of the season, and in this game they might get huge possitive lift, as Robinho (loan from Man City) will probably debut in this game. It is still unclear will he be in starting 11, but Robinho is big plus for this Santos team... He was their leader few years ago, and made miracles on Brazilian stadiums prior his transfer to Real Madrid.
As I said, maybe Sao Paulo will not save players, but no doubt their mind is already on that game, and Santos is playing really great in this championship, plus signing of Robinho is just cherry on the cake for this team. With this positioning of two teams, backing Santos at +0.25 is good option for medium stakes.
Great sportsbook, with fantastic odds

Pick: Radnicki ML Result: 74-70 Stake: 4/10 Odds: 2.83 Bookmaker: Pinnacle vCash: Yes

Well no doubt Olimpija raised some eyebrows when they demolished FMP Belgrade 95-54, and they are no doubt slight favorites here in this match up today. But Olimpija so far in the competition showed two faces, one extremly good, and one very bad. They tend to lose games everybody expect them to win, and win the hard ones. Well today they play on one of the hottest courts in all Adriatic League, in Kragujevac, against Radnicki. Radnicki is in bad streak with 3 loscoach Muta Nikolic called fans to come to this game and to be loud and hostile. I expect one hard battle and Radnicki players to be motivated as hell to win this game against big opponent. Small to medium stakes on Radnicki to win ML.

Smaller stakes and safer option on AH, because it is first round of Ecuadorian League, but I believe that home team can snatch a win here.

Old Lady is in problem, as they didn't won in last 4 rounds, and they are playing very bad indeed. They changed coach, but that change didn't gave express effect as they managed only draw against Lazio 1-1. Juve is struggling with injuries as Iaquinta, Camoranesi, Trezeguet, Poulsen, Marchisio and Salihamidzic are all out. On the other side Livorno is also playing pretty bad, but they last week managed to get draw away from home against AC Milan 1-1. No doubt Livorno would be encouraged by their performance against Milan last week, but Juventus is in must win situation, and I believe they can manage to win today. Medium stakes on -0.25ah offered by 188bet.

This one is cooperation with Marco (http://roter-teufel.blogabet.com/) and I thank him for that. Well I know I every year drop few euros on Sao Paulo in early stages of every competition and I will never learn, but that is the thing and I don't know better. Today Sao Paulo host Sao Caetano quite overish team with maximum force. Coach Ricardo Gomes announced best possible line up, because he wants to see how it will work on first game of Copa Libertadores that Sao Paulo plays in few days at Morumbi against Monterrey. On the other hand Sao Caetano has some problems with injured players and coach will decide before the game about Moradei (Jairo), Romário (Adriano), and Hugo (Eduardo). I see fine opportunity for over in this one. Small to medium stakes.

Good morale is in Volta Redonda locker room after excellent win in last round against Americano (3-1) away from home, and team that started this championship with just 1 point from 3 games now occupies 9th place in Carioca championship. Coach of Volta Redonda said his team is prepared for this game and that they will play on win in this game. Caxias on the other hand have many problems with red cards. 3 players recived red cards in last 2 games, and main goal for them is to try and end the game with 11 players. Both of these teams went Over 2.5 goals in 4/5 times this season, and I really think 5th time is probable.
