Despite some misses on Ajax overs, I will continue to trail them.

Feyenoord have a recent goal tally of 14-7(6 games), season total of 35-24 from 18 games. Ajax have a recent goal tally of 15-4(6 games), season total of 47-24 from 18 games.

Maybe not the smartest thing to play against Maccabi in Nokia Arena, but they are playing in 3 leagues (Euroleague, ABA and domestic) and despite wide roster I get impression they are not the fitest team around. Barcelona will try to win here no doubt and they are still second best team in Europe at the moment. Smaller stake.

State championship started, and unfortunately we stepped on biggest "bomb" in first round, Portuguesa lost at home for the first time in last 6 months. Well Boavista made things OK, and now we are heading into Round 2, and I still can find some bookies mistakes. Key signing is of course old good "Number 10", Xuxa, who came from Vitoria and his job is to feed balls to 2 well known forwards, Borebi (Parana) and Malaquias (Ipatinga). They also signed experienced keeper, Fernando Leal (Vitoria), lateral Márcio Careca (Vasco), midfielders Luciano Sorriso and Acleisson. This team certainly has capacity to be Top8 or near that. And their main weapon is their home field, with is very narrow and hard for away teams to adjust. In the first game Mirassol showed no fear and only because they stayed with 10 man, they lost that game against strongest Corinthians team. For this game coach has one player suspended, others are ready. Catanduvense, except long and hard to write name are modest team with modest finances this season. They are back in this competition after 11 years, but it looks like they have one way ticket to A2 for next season. Coach before first game said that they need to be honest and admit they started from scratch and made some signings, but they are still far from other teams. All in all they have some experienced players, but they are all far from their prime and it is question how they will play. In the first round they were stunned buy defensive minded Migi Morim and lost 0-2. Coach for this game also have one player suspended. Mirassol must be set here as at least -0.75 favorite till game time.
